The Spares performed “Like We Were” on Chicago’s ABC affiliate, WLS-TV, in September.

More about us: The Spares’ music is “hauntingly gorgeous” (Maverick Magazine) and “simple, aching and hearty” (NewCity Chicago). Their last CD was a finalist for 2009 Americana Album of the Year in the Just Plain Folks Music Awards. The Spares’ song “Mexico” was featured on an episode of the HBO television show True Blood in July.
